Comments: My uncle, Dwight Franklin Johnson, was in the 11th Airborne Division and jumped with the 187 Regimental Combat Team in Korea. He was wounded and returned to Fort Campbell. He was stationed there when he was shot and killed by a police officer. I am looking for anyone who knew him or served with him. He was from Stephenville, Texas.

Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew a Corporal James F. Perry from Rochester New York. He was a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne, from 1950-1955. I do know that one of his duty stations was Okinowa. This is all that I know right now, my mother is searching through old papers of his to determine other information. My Father died 11SEP1988 from Mesothelioma. I am the eighth of his ten children and would love to speak to anyone who knew him back then. He was a phenomenal Father and Grandfather. I appreciate any information! Thank you all, your service to our country can never be repaid.

Comments: My late father served with the 11th airborne. I only want to know about him and what he was like. I never got the chance to really know him. The short time I had him only made me want to know more about him. the army will not release any records on my father. We have requested several times. if you have an idea on how we can get these records, that would be helpful. i am the eldest daughter of his 5 children. Thank you.

Comments: Looking for members of my Uncle's unit. 187th Abn RCT-11th Abn Div. PFC Clifford J. Bruinsma of Madison NY was killed in action 26 March 1951. His nickname was 'Kip' According to my information he was a Light Weapons Infantryman (MOS 4745). Looks like he died during action in OPERATION COURAGEOUS.

I'm named after my uncle but never met him. I'd love to know more about my uncle and the men he served with. The information might also be appreciated by my father.
