National Guard Unit, I wsa in the Regular Army and stayed after the guard unit departed and we be came the 24 AAA Bn. But til the day he died he was A proud veteran of the korean war. He always told me how it felt when he helped because he said he was doing a good deed and it made him feel good.

We were stationed at Camp Gordon and Camp Stewart,Georgia. In May 1951 we went to Fort Dix, NJ. September 1951 we left for Fort Lawton, Wash. We arrived in Pusan Korea in Nov. 1951.
