Comments: I arrived at Ft. Custer Mi.late Sept. 1950 for basic training in HQ Btry.& was placed in the Record Section , that recorded fireing data , for the 79th. & 504th. Gun Btns. at Camp Perry , Oh. & Sheboygan, Wi. then moved to Ft. Sheridan & set up 19 gun sites around Chicago ! Was releeased from , active duty on 9-25-1952 , at Ft. Sheridan Ill.

Comments: My dad is retired US Army he was in Korea but at the time not in the 22nd. He was a Ranger in the 24th Inf Div. He came back to the US after the war and was placed in the 22 AAA Group in Ft. Custer in Michigan. He is 70 year old and is lookign for the old 22 AAA Group Patch. He believes it is blue and yellow. We are trying to find it for him for a christmas gift this year. Or perhaps a birthday gift for next year. This is the last ptch we need to complete his shadow box. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
