Used my helmet for a sink as we had know running water and built our own toilets. I was in Section 7 until I made Staff Sgt and then Section Leader of section 8.Played softball for the 22nd AAA. He was a Ranger in the 24th Inf Div. He came back to the US after the war and was placed in the 22 AAA Group in Ft. Custer in Michigan. He is 70 year old and is lookign for the old 22 AAA Group Patch. He believes it is blue and yellow. We are trying to find it for him for a christmas gift this year.
