Comments: I am renewing a search that I started about 8 years ago on PFC Dominik Cataldo who was MIA on Dec 3rd 1950 at Chosin during the Korean War. After 8 years of a much more sophisticated internet, I was able to piece together a little bit more of what might have happened to him then I originally did in 2001. I am looking for anyone that might have any information on him that you would be willing to share with me. Dominik was my uncle who I never knew was a member of the The Fighting Polar Bears, 31st REG, 7th Inf, I company serving at Camp Crawford in Japan before being shipped to Korea.

Comments: M/SGT Carl Lindquist was MIA on Nov 29, 1950. With the help of former CO H 31st Inf Veteran Dick Robinson we determined that M/SGT Lindquist was maybe not in Co H but in HQ&HQ CO of the 31st Inf as a member of the I&R Platoon. M/SGT LIndquist's MOS is for an I&R PLatoon or Squad Leader. So if anyone from HQ&HQ CO or the I&R PLatoon recalls M/SGT LIndquist please contact me. Thanks in advance. James R Johnson

Anyone who might remember my Dad |
 |
 |
Tressa Yetter wrote on 2008-07-02 17:56:01.0
Comments: Dad was a Supply Clerk and was named Supply Seargent but remembers turning that job over to Francis Becker. Dad remembers helping him out. Dad remembers being shot in the arm by Chinese...and in turn Dad shot him. Dad never received a Purple Heart for his injury.. On April 30th of this year.. My parents house burned to the ground. Dad lost all of his military records, ALL of his Korean War Medals, Even his Winter Olive Drab Military Uniform. Dad has trouble remembering everything that happened over there and can't answer all the questions required to get his medals back. The one he misses the most is his C.I.B.
If Anyone at all remembers my Dad, Luster Charles or the fellas he served with.. please email me.
Thanks in advance!
