Comments: Looking for anyone who might remember twin brothers Rudy or Ed Florjancic who served together in this unit in Korea, both out of the Cleveland, OH area. My father was a Quad-50 gunner on a half-track, and recently passed (they are now both deceased). I am looking to see if anyone remmebers him, has any photos or stories about either one of them, or locations where they were stationed while there. My dad never told me specifically where he was located, but did say that they were pulling security detail for the arty as well as a MASH unit nearby.
Bless all of you for your service in this 'forgotten war'. You have certainly not been forgotten, nor has your service to this country.

I will add you to the roster and mail you a copy.We have had the first 4 reunions at Pigeon Forge, TN and plan to have the 2005 reunion there also. In January we plan to send out a newsletter with the agenda for the next reunion. About 1 March we send out invitations along with an updated roster to each member listed. We have a real nice group of friendly people so you will feel welcome if you attend. We invite any past Bn Member to our reunions, including the present active duty members in the now 3rd ADA which is an offspring of our 3rd AAA Bn. Comments: I was wondering if by chance anyone might remember someone named Felix Santiago. He is my father, and I have been trying to find out more about his experiences in the Korean War. During his time in Korea he was in the 3rd Division, D Battery, 15th AAA Automatic Weapons Battalion. He was shipped to Korea in Jan 1952, and was discharged in late 1952. I have a copy of the discharge papers, but it is difficult to read. If anyone knew him, or can give me more information about the unit, I would appreciate it. Also, does anyone happen to know where I can get a good copy of his discharge papers?

Comments: I was aan M-39 driver serving on Outpost Harry the Fall of 1952 and winter of 1953. I was at the Kumsong Salient the evening the ceasefire took place. It was a memorable evening. The artillery on both sides was furious all day, neither side wanting to have to haul ammo back, so at six P.M. the sudden silence was deafening. I shall never forget that experience!! Then from down the line, one could hear the cheers as each battery celebrated. I remember that a field artillery unit had been overrun at Kumsong, they had to spike their guns and retreat. We arrived along with elements of the third infantry to bolster the line. I believe the artillery unit may gave been the 555th but I'm not sure. I remember several names from that time, Held, a kid from Iowa, Tom Baden, Ritchie from Loma, WI.

about it.
I was with the 3d AAA AW SP, Battery C& D while in Korea. We arrived in
Korea in November with the Third division and ran convoys up to the
Chosin and were finally evacuated from Hungnam. Our battery was one of
the last off of the peninsula on the evening of Dec 24th .
I have an old Army buddy who I have kept in contact with who has a whole
box of photo's from training through Korea. He is not on the net that I
know of but would you like his name and address?
I am looking for the whereabouts of a black Artillery Sgt., named
Peter Crawford who I went through PIO school with. I believe he was
with the 999 105 howitzer Sp (Brigade?) 3d. Div.
I saw him once in North Korea and then never again.
