Comments: My grandfather is deceased but I came across of of his plaques and it says: CPL. DELBERT A. HOOD ENL. 10/30/51 982 ENG.CONST.BN TO LENA & DAD It is personalized to his parents, but it has alot of pictures of military patches & ribbons around the edge. I was curious to know if it was given to all enlisted men? And what did the 982 Engineer Construction Battalion do? thanks in advance for any help! Shawn

Comments: I would like to find more info. on my father who attended basic in Ft. Leonardwood, MO, then served with I think it was the 412th Engineers building bridges in the Chosin Reservior. I have some pictures, but no story to go with them as my father passed away before I could get them. Please help me put stories to the pictures.
