LOOKING FOR INFO ABOUT CHARLES CHERRY

Comments: My father was on the Alshain during the Korean conflict sometime around 1949-51. I'm not sure of the exact time frame. He passed away about twenty years ago and never talked about his tour of duty. My mother always said that he loved the Navy and probably wished he had stayed in. I would like to hear from anyone that was on the ship with him. I do have a photograph that he is pictured in with several other men in Navy uniforms at what appears to be a shipmate's wedding reception. I also have an onboard photo of him with his shipmates that has typed on the back This Picture Was Taken On Our Way Back To The States. Willing to share the photos online with anyone that may be intereted.
Thanks,
Rich Cherry
