Help needed for Dad

Comments: My Dad has pasted away and one of his wishes was to have his ashes spread around the Yorktown. I have not been able to find anyhing that can help ne carry out his last wishes. Need information on USS Yorktown

Comments: I am hoping you can help me find out information on the USS Yorktown. I know it is now in a museum in South Carolina, but I really need to know what a navigator does/did back then. That was my dad's MOS on this ship. My dad's name and rank is CQM Henry Hunt, he retired in 1972 from the United States Navy. I can not ask my dad due to the fact he passed away in 2000.
