| CAROLE ANN BROZOVICH wrote on December 26, 1999 CITY AND STATE: WHITING IN UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: ......... Comments: My father (Robert Brozovich) was a member of the Squadron 151. It was called the Black Knights and Fighting 151. The squadron flew F-9-F-2 Panthers. The Squadron was based in Alamed, CA. I spoke with my father who relayed this info. to me: Yes, he was on the fighting line on May1953. July 25, 1953 a pilot by the name of Jack Ingram went down. On July 26,1953 Tom Ledford (a pilot) got a cold catapult shot and went into the ocean. The impact was believed to have killed him. While on board the USS Boxer July 27, 1953, the armistice was signed. My father served with and now corresponds with a Navy Historian by the name of Alan Bedord, he has compiled a history of Squadron 151. If you would be interested in this info you might be able to reach him at apelican@theofficenet.net. He recently had rotator cuff surgery so he might be slow in responding though.
