Comments: I'm a former Marine who served 1960-1963. I like to collect Korean War vintage stuff. Recently I purchased a nylon jacket on the internet with a leather name tag "Dave Sample AO3 VLF 153 CAG 15". And on one sleve is an American Flag and on the other sleeve is a C patch. I googled Dave Sample and up came the site with the information. If Dave want's his jacket back I would gladly send it to him. JJ White

Currently, I am writing a book on F4U Corsair Operations in the Korean War. I would like to hear from anyone that served in VF-153 during that conflict.

Comments: I lost this address and just found it. I am still alive and kicking and will be 75 in late May. I was an aviation ordnanceman on the USS Princeton CVA 37 and then the Yorktown CVA 10. I did see Gerry Miller on a program about the Carriers way back when and I think he made Admiral. He knew how to play the game mand was the best skipper a feller ever had! I sold soap for him! I would love to hear from any old pals from that time!

Comments: To Pam Turner, Message 6813: I have a copy of the cruise book you seek and will be happy to xerox pages for you. I was in the squadron with your father. Glad to see that Dave Sample replied earlier. Our skipper was G. E. Miller. CAG was John Parks. I am in Santa Barbara with Ace Southergill living 5 blocks away. We need a reunion at Moffet Field, including all Squadrons of the Group, especially the Jacksonville NAACP alumni.
