Comments: I am looking for any recollections and information, official and unofficial, pertaining to Captain Vernon Rourke. From what I can gather from pictures, orders etc... My uncle flew T-33s and was an Instructor Pilot working with the ROKAF. I'm an Attack Helicopter Instructor in the Army, with sons who are beginning careers as AF pilots. Trying to capture the service of my Uncle for posterity, any help is appreciated.

Comments: I sympathize with the 30,000 or,so korea veterans
when I consider the overall manner in which we seem to have been treated,by government, veterans of ww2,and the canadian populace at large.
It is, for me, at least...near impossible to
understand this phenomena.I have choosen to regard it all as "one bad dream"
As for govt. .....look at how they spell the
name of korea's southern port of entry,"BUSAN".And that's on their national website.
God bless all veterans of "all" wars and
that includes peace keepers, and God bless canada.

Comments: My dad spent a few months on a British ship which he believes was named HMS Rhoades. Does anyone have any information on this ship or on the programs where American sailors spent time on their ships? Thanks.
