1503rd Air Traffic Sq (changed to Air Terminal Sq)
I was stationed in this squadron from 1954 to Feb 56.
Would like to hear from some of the guys there.
Our CO was Col Richard M. Gray. the Adj was Dorthy C. Picture
the lst Sgt was MSgt Bugle.
I was stationed at Haneda Air Port. We were a flying squadron also took
care of the passenger service (terminal) where operations worked out of.
That was a good assignment to me. I don't think that we ever did have
inspection while I was station there. I rotated back to Turner AB Albany Ga
(a SAC base) and it seamed like we where having inspection ever two or three
months.
We were hauling mail in and supplies in and out of Korea. I don't know when
it was posted in the war zone. I know that we got the Korean Service Medal,
UN service and National Defence for being in that unit. We landed most of
the time at Kunsun AB.
