Comments: Have many vivid memories of Korea. The 67th was based at Chin-hae(k10)and staged out of several numbered bases notably K-16 (Yung-dun -po)and K-55.I spent about half my tour as a crew chief and the rest on a crew whose mission was to change engines.I specally remember the members of the Second South Africa Sq. I especally remember Airman Burgess whose ambition was to arrive back in S.A. with a barracks bag of Lucky Strikes. The comaradire of those years will never be forgotten.

Keywords: Nick name "Ike" Time has dimmed my memory but the names of two friends remain. Samual G.Dam of S.W. Harbor Me. and Rbt. Dehnert .A P51D with Miss Peggy(my daughter)painted on the rt. cowling and the pilots wifes name(Elizabeth)on the left cowling was shot down and now rests at the bottom of the China sea.
