I know he served in the Korean war - and I remember seeing a book of the war that he brought home (my sister now has it). He passed away at the young age of 56 - he would have been 91 had he lived. This was my first outfit out of tech school and is very dear to my heart. I was Chief Clerk n the Orderly Room and I knew just about eveyone in the squadron. Mrs Grubbs book had many errors in it and had to be redone. The revised editon had several errors. A goodexmple: Pvt Van Mullen at the bottom of the list was LCol and the Grup Commander. This is a good project you have started and if I can help in any way, just let me know. I completed 20 years and retired in June 1967 with the rank Senior Master Sergeant.
