Comments: I served at Johnson Field, Japan, in the 35th Air Police Sqdn. until the flying sqdns. unit moved to Yakota Air Base and the 3rd Fighter-Bomber Wing(Light)moved from Yakota to Johnson. The reason for the move was the 35th was getting F-80s and the runway at Johnson was too short, so the flying part of the unit moved to Yakota and the 3rd which had B-26s came to Johnson. Colonel T. B. Hall was the commander of the 3rd at that time and was KIA in Korea. Would like to contact anyone who served there at any time. I was there in 1948 until the start of the Korean War in June 1950.
