Was on Cheju-do for a year. 1957 to 1958. Looked up Cheju-do, and they now have hotels and people go there for their HONEYMOON???? In 1957 to 1958, not even a landing strip! If weather permitted, supplies from Japan came in. I one time received 21 letters, no plane for three weeks. Food purchased from village. Anyone out from the 1957 to 1958 time frame?
