Comments: I am searching for more information concerning my uncle, Waldo Kipling Bess. He was a Lt.Col. when he passed away in 2004, but much lower rank in Korea. All I know about his service is that he was on Pork Chop Hill, and at sometime was wounded. Please contact me if you know more. Thank you.

LOOKING FOR JIM BEAMER

Suzanne Arbil wrote on 2010-08-04 03:55:50.0

Comments: I am looking for my biological father, Jim Beamer. He was stationed near Seoul, Korea and was in the Army. I was born in May of 1966 so he had to have been there in the summer of 1965 when I was conceived. My mother's name is Yong An, but he may have known her as "Bobbie." She worked in the dining hall of the base. My mother told him I was a boy and named Danny, because he really wanted a boy, but I am actually female and named Suzanne. He was married in the states & had a sister who sent clothes to my mother for me. ANY information at all about this man would be an incredible blessing! I want to know my ethnic and medical history. Thanks so much for reading this.

Ignoring these facts or masking them with patriotism is forsaking ones integrity as a human being.

I just can't belive they think we never were even there. Anyone knowing of the 558 medical collecting co or the 562 medical ambulance co please let me know. Saved a Life by Picking Up Wounded

Yvonne Falletti wrote on 2010-06-03 17:04:22.0

Comments: Looking for Rodney Wilson (or family). Drove a utility truck, possibly laundry, picked up Theodore (Ted) Kraft wounded. Believe this was three miles North of the 38th paralled. We believe he saved the life of Kraft by taking him to a field hospital. No other soldiers in Kraft's team survived including Tech Sgt Orville Murphy, leadgummer. Mr. Wilson was/is a Black American and was from Chicago (West Chicago, IL)

Please respon. Trying to establish what year this happened to prove to the government that Mr. Kraft is indeed a Veteran and a Veteran of the Korean War. Seems documentation lost in a fire and having trouble getting them to make effort to research other means to documentation. Extremely important to Mr. Kraft.
