| NATALIE HARTHORN MILOTA wrote on January 30, 2012 CITY AND STATE: VENTURA CA UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FRIEND OF VETERAN Comments: Staff Sargeant Kenneth Charles Fetty was my high school sweetheart and after his wife passed in 2000 we reconnected but he refused to discuss his time in Korea. As I understand it, all his data was lost in a fire at the Veteran's building in St Louis. How can his information be found? Perhaps thru other Korean vets now. I would like to visit the museum. I am a founding member in his name. Please contact me. Natalie Harthorn Milota Keywords: unit? battles? |

I have some photo's of him and the tanks as well as a tracked snow vehicle, but the pictures of him in uniform do not clearly show his unit emblem/patch. He reached the Rank of Staff Sargent and awarded the following decorations during his service: Army Good Conduct Medal with three ribbon clasps, National Defense Service Medal, Army Korean Service Medal (for service in Japan during Korean War), United Nations Korea Medal. I remember meeting a gentleman several years ago who wore a Korea Veterans Ball Cap and began to cry when I thanked him for his service and after comforting him explained that in the fifty years since his Korean Service not one person had ever said thank you to him!
