Comments: My dad was a Sgt in the 1st Marine Truck Amphibian Company at Inchon and Wonsan . At Chosin, approximately 11/1/50 to 12/24/50. His job was moving 105s and ammo ashore and wounded back to the LCIs. He helped evauate Korean civilians. Does anyone know or remember him?

Comments: My dad landed on Kimpo in a DUKW while I landed on the tidal basin with B,1,1,1 with an LMG squad. Went on through Soule, then up to Wonsan on an LST, to Kojo, back to Wonsan up to Chi Hung Ni, went on "pinzer" up the road to get the guys out of the Chosen, back to evacuate to Pusan, transfered to DUKWs until getting wounded when a mine destroyed a jeep about 8 feet in front of me, then to the hospital in Yokasuka by way of the hospital ship in Pusan, rotated home to serve at the NOD in Bremerton till discharge.

Comments: My dad Fred W. Connor Jr. died on 2/17/05, never talked about service time, but his notes he left mentioned serving in the 1st Marine Division, 1st Amphibious Truck Co, 1950. Does anyone remember my dad and could give any information about his time in Korea and the Bronze Star he received? Thanks for your help. Don
