Comments: I'm looking for a man who was a Military Police in the Marine Corp and was stationed at Okinawa, Japan during 1945. He was then sent to Korea. We have a picture of him but don't really have a name. We think his last name is "Jenks" and we know he was from Hawaii. He was involved with a Japanese women during this time and got her pregnant so the daughter is looking to find this man or any relatives he may have. We think he is around 90 years old so he may be deceased.

Duel N. Jeans wrote on 2005-11-01 00:00:00.0
Comments: I was wounded along with another Marine at the Naktong River on or about September 6, 1950. A "one-lung Charlie" flew over our heads and dropped a bomb that exploded just above us. I received a perforated ear-drum and the other Marine received schrapnel to the forehead. I believe he was one of those younger guys and that he was later in in Japan at the re-training center. If anyone knows who this fella might be, or how we can contact him we would be very greatful.

He also says that he had all the guys from the infantry right beside them at that time. Anyone with more info would be greatly appreciated. In Christ, Shirley Pauli

Comments: from Inchon to Uijungbu, then yo yo and met Bob Hope in Wansan. He was waiting for us! Next up thru Sudong, Koto ri and finally stopped at Hagaru. Capt. Turner was our commander. He died a year or 2 ago in Az. We are the company that scraped out the air strip in Hagaru. (God bless Gen. Smith) Started out of there on Dec. 6th, my 20th birthday, and never thought I would see 21. Lost some great guys up there and don't let a day pass without thanking the Marines who scoured the hills on either side of the road out! I was trans. to H and S Co. in Jan. due to frost bite etc and came home to SF in Sept. of 51. I don't do "war stories" or reunions, but those guys were the best............
