Comments: I am trying to find out the fate of Lt. Ken Henry and the helo pilot from the USS Manchester who were shot down. They were attempting to rescue an aviator previously shot down. This incident was the basis for the movie "Bridges of To-ko-Ri. The last that was heard was that they had been captured. No other information was given before we left the area. I believe the incident acurred in the early spring of 1953.

Keywords: Caaaaaaptured when helicopter was shot down

I was very pleased to find your web site, as finding old jarheads has
proven to be a real chore.thank you for helping.

I am looking for Bill Gough, he was with 6511 A/O. Reinlisted while
at Atsugi, in 1954. He was from Alaska.

Thank you and Semper Fi.
